MOSCOW, April 13 First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov may move to the Accounts Chamber, a source in parliament said.
“There is information that Andrei Removich Belousov may not join the new government. One of the employment options is an appointment to the post of head of the Accounts Chamber,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
The post of head of the Accounts Chamber became vacant in November 2022 after Alexey Kudrin moved to work at Yandex. As Vladimir Putin noted last September, the absence of the head does not interfere with her work; the personnel issue will be resolved when “the situation matures.”
Andrei Belousov was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister on January 21, 2020. Before that, he served as assistant to the president.
