The model of the Chinese brand, apparently, will not wait for the previously announced restyling: the company published teasers of the new product with a changed exterior.
The Haval brand, owned by the Chinese concern Great Wall, introduced the H6 SUV in 2011. The second generation model appeared in 2017, and the current third generation crossover debuted in 2020. Let us remind you that it also has a hybrid and a variant with a coupe-shaped body, and both modifications differ due to the design of the exterior. It is worth noting that the brand’s lineup still includes the second-generation H6 crossover. Very soon the family will face changes, although not as expected.
Teaser of the new generation Haval H6
Last summer, the Chinese manufacturer published pictures of the restyled “third” Haval H6 crossover. It was assumed that such an SUV would debut before the end of last year, but the model was “forgotten.” Now official teasers of the new H6 have appeared, however, the appearance of this car is different, and the company calls it the next generation. It should be noted that the celestial publication Cheshi.com published full-fledged photographs of the new SUV.

Judging by the images, the “fourth” Haval H6 will receive a different front design: with a massive radiator grille of a different shape and a pattern of glossy horizontal “strokes”. The shape and “filling” of the main headlight blocks remained the same, but the new product was supplemented with vertical “flowing” running lights. The air intake integrated into the lower part of the front bumper now looks more laconic.
The stern also received its share of changes: the lights, previously designed as a single block, are now divided, and in place of the jumper between them there is an inscription with the name of the brand written in large letters. The reflectors at the bottom of the rear bumper are now horizontal. Models left the spoiler on the top of the tailgate and the shark fin antenna on the roof.

The company has not yet officially announced the dimensions of the new Haval H6. According to the Chinese publication, the new product is 50 mm longer compared to the current standard crossover of the third generation (other dimensions are the same). The length of the current SUV is 4653 mm, width – 1886 mm, height – 1730, and the distance between the axles is 2738 mm.
There are no photos of the interior yet. It is expected that the interior of the new H6 will be decorated in the same style as that of the Xiaolong Max (which was declassified in China last spring). In this case, the model will likely have several touchscreen multimedia systems, including a separate display for the front passenger, a pair of niches for wireless charging of smartphones and plenty of storage space for small items.

2/2There is no official information about the technology of the next Haval H6 yet. According to preliminary data, the crossover lineup will continue to have 1.5- and 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engines. It is assumed that the output of the “junior” engine will be 184 hp. (like the current SUV), and it will be paired with the same seven-speed robot with two clutches. It is assumed that the output of the “older” 2.0-liter engine from the current 211 hp. increased to 238 hp. It is also expected that it will be offered with a nine-speed robotic gearbox. It is possible that the new H6 will have a hybrid modification.
