MOSCOW, April 16 State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said in Telegram -channel that Washington will continue to create new military conflicts, trying to delay the default that must inevitably occur.
“Washington will continue to create more and more military conflicts, trying to delay the default that must inevitably occur with such borrowing,” he wrote. Volodin added that Washington's maintenance costs have become the most problematic item of expenditure, since the amount of interest payments in the near future could amount to a third of US budget revenues. The exorbitant growth of the American national debt, according to the politician, means that Washington does not plan to pay it back.
Volodin noted that the United States is accustomed to solving its problems at the expense of others. Therefore, “to maintain hegemony, they started a war in Ukraine, sacrificing the economy of the European Union.” However, according to the speaker, this was not enough. Therefore, Volodin believes, Washington is once again provoking military action, this time in the Middle East.
