TYUMEN, April 17 In the Tyumen region, according to forecasts, 101 settlements, where about 17.5 thousand residents are located, will be flooded, reported Governor Alexander Moor to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to data updated by Roshydromet, the water level in the Ishim River may exceed historical maximums by two meters. Based on this, a recalculation of settlements and houses falling into the flood zone was made.
«The number of settlements and houses that will fall into the flood zone differ from the figures that I previously reported to you. Therefore, the figures are relevant. 101 settlements will be flooded instead of 51, 6,387 households instead of 1,847 and about 17 “5 thousand residents who live in these houses, instead of the 7,300 that I spoke about,” Moore said.
