MOSCOW, April 18 The Russian Railways (RZD) holding has already begun a phased transfer of its services to the Russian automated enterprise management system (ERP), said in an interview with Deputy Head of Russian Railways Evgeny Charkin.
“Currently, with the help of the Russian Railways holding, we are actively developing the basic functionality of the system. Several functional blocks have already been launched, and our users have gradually transferred to them. Full-scale development and piloting should be completed by the end of next year,” he said.
According to Charkin, in April of this year the T1 holding joined the development of domestic ERP, and Russian Railways also interact with the 1C company as a technology partner.
Russian Railways are working in two directions as part of the development of ERP: transferring the holding's systems to the domestic version and creating a national standard for resource management systems for large enterprises.
To create a unified national ERP platform on the basis of Russian Railways in a short time, the ANO NCC ISU was established in February 2023. Among the key tasks of ANO «NTSK ISU» are methodological support for the development, implementation and operation of the RMS, work on integration standards and functional requirements, and determination of priorities for its development.
