MOSCOW, April 18 The Moscow City Court upheld a fine of 35 thousand rubles imposed on musician Andrei Makarevich* for the absence of a foreign agent sign in his publications on the Internet, reported the press service of the court.
“The Moscow City Court upheld the decision of the Simonovsky District Court of Moscow imposing an administrative penalty on Andrei Vadimovich Makarevich* in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 35,000 rubles without change, and the applicant’s appeal was not satisfied,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
Makarevich* received the fine in August last year. Then the capital court found him guilty under Part 4 of Article 19.34. From the court ruling, which is available, it follows that the musician “allowed the distribution of materials in the Telegram messenger without indicating that these materials were produced or distributed by a foreign agent, or related to the activities of a foreign agent.”
In May, the Tagansky Court of Moscow will consider another protocol against the musician for the absence of a blank in his content.
In September 2022, the Russian Ministry of Justice included the founder of the Time Machine group in the register of individuals performing the functions of a foreign agent. In the corresponding list, Ukraine was indicated in the column on sources of funding, and political activities were also mentioned. He himself challenged this decision in the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow, but his claim was rejected.
