MOSCOW, April 19 A young man attacked an investigator who arrived to search his father’s apartment in Moscow, a case has been opened, the senior assistant to the head of the capital’s head office of the Russian Investigative Committee told reporters Yulia Ivanova.
“»A criminal case has been opened against a 22-year-old young man. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of the authorities),» she said.
According to the investigation, on April 17, a man, while in an apartment on Polyany Street in Moscow, attacked an investigator who had arrived to conduct a search in the home of the defendant’s father. The attacker was detained, the investigation intends to petition for his arrest.
