The French brand Citroen, part of the Stellantis corporation, has declassified the design of the second-generation C3 Aircross subcompact crossover for the European market, it is noticeably different from the design of models of the same name for developing countries.
The second-generation Citroen C3 Aircross is another offspring of the budget modular Smart Car platform, originally developed for emerging markets; the first-born of this platform is the new cross-hatchback Citroen C3, which has been produced since 2022 in India and Brazil. The new Indian-assembled Citroen C3, judging by the Global NCAP crash tests, really has a problem with safety, but the European version of the same model, which premiered last fall, should be better in terms of safety — we are waiting for the results of the Euro NCAP tests.
