MOSCOW, April 18 Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday he will talk with the governor of the Murmansk region Andrei Chibis, who has returned to work, said press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov told reporters that on Thursday the president was working in Novo-Ogarevo and would take care of regional affairs.
«Emphasis on regional affairs. Today the president will have a video conference with Murmansk governor Andrei Chibis. He went to work. Everyone wished him a speedy recovery. Today he will talk with the president,» Peskov told reporters.

Peskov clarified that both Crimea and the Murmansk region are extremely important, each has its own specifics. “There will be a serious conversation,” he added.
According to Peskov, Putin is also planning working meetings behind closed doors on Thursday.
The attempt on Chibis's life was committed on the evening of April 4. As the investigation established, a 42-year-old resident of Apatity, after waiting for the regional governor to finish his meeting with city residents, stabbed him in the stomach with a knife. The head of the region underwent surgery. The attacker was detained; he explained his action by a feeling of personal hostility, although he was not familiar with the head of the region. Chibis reported on April 12 that he had already been discharged from the hospital, was at home and was recovering.
