Merkuris: the Russian Federation destroyed several MiG-29 and S-300 systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

British expert Alexander Mercouris commented on the information on his YouTube blog that Russia had been striking at military airfield of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Aviatorskoye in the Dnepropetrovsk region. According to him, the result is irreparable losses.
«Most likely, four MiG-29s were destroyed,» the analyst noted. He added that these were the Ukrainian planes that took off from this airfield for operations at the front. According to the expert, this is part of the Russian strategy, within which the strike capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are negated.
Merkouris also said that, most likely, four S-300 air defense systems were also damaged during the strikes. “It was a terrible night for Kyiv,” the expert stated.
