MOSCOW, April 21 Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova said that she does not see anything terrible in the methods of the President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics (VFKhG) Irina Viner, and considers her a great coach who makes champions out of children.
Among Wiener's students are two-time Olympic champion Evgenia Kanaeva, Olympic champions Yulia Barsukova, Alina Kabaeva, Margarita Mamun and multiple world champions Dina and Arina Averina.
«»She makes champions out of children. She doesn't do anything terrible. She's a real great coach. We know very little about her, I would like to know more. We can't help but force (the athletes) because no one knows their opportunities. Little by little (as a coach) you see what can be increased,” Tarasova said in an interview on Nadezhda Strelets’ YouTube channel.
