NYT: Trump has stopped being so negative about US aid to Ukraine
In the last few days, ex-President of the United States Donald Trump has stopped being as negative as before about the idea of American assistance to Ukraine. This was reported by The New York Times (NYT).
"Mr. Trump <…> actually reduced the intensity of resistance to aid to Ukraine in the last few days, while the blockade (of the bill on aid to Kyiv. — ) began to break through,” — the publication says.
It is noted that Trump also expressed support for Speaker of Congress Mike Johnson and “remained in the shadows” during the vote on the bill on April 20. It is clarified that the ex-head of state refused to put pressure on representatives of the Republican Party to vote against the document.
In turn, Trump on his page on the social network said that “the survival and power of Ukraine is important.” for the States, asking in addition the question of why the EU does not give Kyiv even more money.
