The girl’s body was found near the dormitory
A successful volleyball player, candidate master of sports, who played for the Russian youth team, committed suicide on Sunday afternoon in the southeast of the capital.
As MK learned, a 21-year-old girl found at 21.00 near the Moscow Power Engineering Institute dormitory building on 1st Sinichkina Street. The nature of the injuries suggested that she had attempted suicide. The doctors were unable to save her.
The deceased was a professional volleyball player; in 2018, as part of the team, she won the Russian championship among girls under 17 years old, and in 2019 she won bronze at the Spartakiad for students. She played for the clubs Dynamo-Vodny Stadium and Zarechye.
