At secondary school No. 1 in Kotelniki near Moscow, an event “Where Patriotism Begins” was held, which was attended by Alexander Glazov, a participant in the war in Ukraine. A publication about this on the website of the all-Russian society of veterans “Combat Brotherhood” was found by the publication “NeMoskva”.
The meeting with schoolchildren took place on October 27, but attention was paid to the note dedicated to it only now. Glazov spoke to the students of the eighth “B” and told them “about his service in the Northern Military District zone,” wrote “Combat Brotherhood.” Mediazona also noted that on December 24, 2023, Glazov took part in the New Year’s party for the children and grandchildren of members of the Resurrection branch of this organization.
In 2019, the Lyubertsy City Court sentenced then 34-year-old Alexander Glazov to six years in prison in the case of inducing teenagers to commit suicide as one of the administrators of “death groups” (Part 2 of Article 110.2 of the Criminal Code).

The verdict published in the court database says that Glazov on the pages of “A. Glazov», «A. Glazik”, “Annubis Keith”, “Nikolai Krotov” published “publicly available information of a suicidal nature” on VKontakte. According to the court, he corresponded with teenagers and gave them tasks: to harm themselves, to climb onto the roofs of high-rise buildings and construction cranes and take photographs there, to cross railway tracks in front of a train. He also sent his interlocutors audio and video with scenes of violence and suicide.
In court, Glazov admitted guilt and said that in November 2016 he received a message on Odnoklassniki from the “curator of the Blue Whale group” with an invitation to join the game.» According to Glazov, he completed 49 tasks “aimed at preparing for suicide,” but he did not complete the last one (he needed to throw himself off the roof) and stopped corresponding with the group members.
Later, a person under the nickname “More” wrote to him on VKontakte and offered to become a “game curator.” Glazov explained that he was offered 800 thousand rubles “for the suicide of a player aged 14 to 22 years” — he agreed because he needed the money. To communicate with teenagers, Glazov created the group “On the Edge of Life.” The testimony read out in court stated that one of Glazov’s interlocutors tried to commit suicide, but they managed to save her.
The court considered mitigating circumstances, in addition to admission of guilt and repentance, that Glazov has two minor children, parents who have disabilities, and his wife’s illness.
Judging by the photographs from Glazov’s page on VKontakte, from the colony he was recruited into the Wagner PMC. It is unknown when he left for the front and when he returned from the war in Ukraine. In the last photos, Glazov visits the cemetery in Balashikha, where Wagner PMC mercenaries are buried. NeMoskva suggests that he was wounded at the front — the latest photographs show that the convict is missing several fingers. Glazov publishes quotes from Yevgeny Prigozhin and messages about recruiting mercenaries “to work in Africa.”
