The Russian-appointed governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that the Russian military “repelled an anti-ship missile attack” on one of the ships on the northern side of the city.
According to him, on the morning of April 21, a “small fire” occurred from falling fragments , which was promptly eliminated.” Razvozhaev did not specify which ship was being attacked.
At about 8:30, traffic on the Crimean Bridge was blocked, it resumed an hour later. Eyewitnesses said they saw fire trucks on the North Side heading towards the bay.
The local telegram channel “Crimean Wind” published a video of a burning ship. The author of the entry says that the missile hit “the steamer.”
OSINT bloggers write that, presumably, as a result of the attack, the Kommuna ship, a submarine rescuer located in the Black Sea Fleet, was damaged. The ship is more than a hundred years old, it was modernized, and in 2022 it examined the site of the sinking of the cruiser Moskva.
