The court arrested a trash streamer from Volgograd who called participants in the war in Ukraine “cannon fodder”

The Central District Court of Volgograd arrested local trash streamer and TikToker Pavel Prokudin for two months in the case of humiliating the dignity of the Russian military (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code), V1.ru reports.

The reason for initiating a criminal case was Prokudin’s stream on April 4, in which he called the Russian participants in the war in Ukraine “cannon fodder” and discussed whether there was any “sense” to their lives.

On April 5, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, drew attention to the stream. According to her, the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, became interested in the video. The police checked the video to see if it could “discredit” the army.

Before the initiation of a criminal case, Prokudin managed to leave Volgograd, and he was put on the wanted list. On April 22, the streamer was detained in Penza. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there he lived in an apartment rented in someone else’s name. After his arrest, Prokudin apologized on camera and said that he criticized the military because he “drank and did not control his emotions.”

Prokudin is known for trash streams in which he used violence against his loved ones. Once on air he used force against his mother and grandmother, and later he beat his girlfriend.

In July 2023, the blogger was fined 10 thousand rubles under the administrative article of inciting hatred and humiliation of human dignity (20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of a video in which he “expressed a negative assessment towards persons of Caucasian nationalities »
