BELGOROD, April 27 Five civilians, including a teenager, were injured in a repeated attack by a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone in the village of Voznesenovka, Shebekinsky District, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said in Telegram channel.
In the morning, the governor informed that the village of Voznesenovka, Shebekinsky urban district, was attacked by five kamikaze drones. One of them attacked a tractor on the territory of an agricultural enterprise, and the machine operator was injured as a result of the explosion. A grain truck, a KAMAZ, a passenger car, a shopping facility and a GAZelle were also damaged.
“In the village of Voznesenovka, Shebekinsky district, a kamikaz drone fell on a section of the roadway. As a result of the fall followed by detonation, three cars were damaged and five civilians were injured, including one teenager,” Gladkov wrote.
The governor clarified that the 17-year-old girl is in moderate condition and was taken to the children's regional clinical hospital. Three victims were taken to the regional clinical hospital in serious condition. The driver of one of the cars had a shrapnel wound to the head, a woman was wounded by shrapnel in the back and shoulder, and a man had multiple shrapnel wounds.
«Another victim, who was outside the vehicle at the time of the attack, with an ear contusion, he independently turned to the Shebekinsky Central District Hospital and, after the assistance provided, was sent home for outpatient treatment,” added the head of the region.
The Shebekinsky urban district of the Belgorod region borders the Kharkov region of Ukraine and is subject to shelling almost every day. The village of Voznesenovka is located approximately 6 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
