In the city of Belopolye, Sumy region, two elderly women were killed as a result of Russian shelling. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports this.
The dead were 69 and 77 years old. Three more women were injured. According to the department, Belopole was shelled from artillery for two hours. Multi-storey and private buildings in the city were damaged.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reports that the Russian army dropped two guided bombs on an industrial facility in Sumy. There is no information about damage or casualties there yet.
