At the Ostavyevo airfield in the southwest of Moscow, a Ka-32 helicopter from the Moscow Aviation Center was waiting, RBC and Baza report, citing sources.
As noted, on the day of the arson the helicopter was covered. The fire occurred on the night of April 26 and was extinguished.
At the scene they found “five glass and one plastic bottles, which smelled of flammable liquid, a tire iron, a bag for spare shoes, a pair of gloves and pieces of barbed wire.”
A criminal case has been opened. under Article 205 of the Criminal Code (terrorist attack). The security forces declined to comment officially. Yesterday, a video of the helicopter being set on fire was published by the State Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
