In the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region, at the entrance to the New Roshchinskoye cemetery, a showdown between competitors of the funeral business took place. Five people attacked a 31-year-old executive director of a company selling ritual supplies and a 42-year-old unemployed native of Dagestan.
As St. Petersburg journalists found out, the victims arrived at the cemetery the day before to distribute leaflets proposing the installation of monuments. However, in the parking lot, unknown people attacked them, shouting: “We’ve come to extinguish it.”
According to the ritualists, the attackers were armed with bats, and the blows were also delivered with tombstones, reports Telegram channel 47 News. After that, the attackers opened fire from a traumatome, stole 117 thousand rubles from the victims and fled in an Infinity SUV.
As a result, doctors diagnosed one of the men with a fractured nose, and the other with a displaced fracture of the left hand bone , bruises and abrasions.
According to the portal 78.ru, the police later detained one of the suspects, who turned out to be a 33-year-old administrator of another funeral company who had been repeatedly convicted. A bat and two stones were confiscated from him. A criminal case has been initiated.
