According to hydrological bulletins from the Telegram channel of the government of the Tyumen region, at 8.00 (6.00 Moscow time) on April 28, the water level in the Ishim River in the village of Vikulovo reached 768 centimeters, having risen by 67 centimeters in one day. The critical level of the dangerous phenomenon for this locality is 1000 centimeters.
According to open sources, about 15 thousand people live in the Vikulovsky district. According to information published on the website flood 72.rf, there are 19 settlements in the potential flooding zone in this area, including the regional center — the village of Vikulovo, which has more than 7 thousand inhabitants.
The emergency situation for floods in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8, the peak of the flood on the Ishim and Tobol rivers was expected on April 23-25. According to updated data from the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia as of Saturday, 184 residential buildings, 523 country houses, 2,875 household plots, and 22 sections of roads were flooded in 30 settlements. More than 5.7 thousand residents were evacuated, of which 607 people are in temporary accommodation centers, including 217 children.
