According to OP-8 of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Voronezh, the conflict near the shopping center began with a fight between a group of citizens, as a result of which two were injured, and one of them died on the spot. The alleged killers have fled, and law enforcement agencies are carrying out operational search activities to clarify the circumstances of the incident and apprehend the perpetrators.
