KRASNODAR, April 30 A criminal case has been opened into the beating of a Krasnodar resident by teenagers because of his remark about riding mopeds, the regional main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the Telegram channel departments.
On April 27, police began checking the circumstances of the beating of a Krasnodar resident in a cottage village. According to preliminary data, the conflict occurred after the man made a remark about young people riding two-wheelers.
«On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of moderate harm to health), which provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment of up to three years,» the statement says.
According to the department, law enforcement officers are identifying those involved in the fight.
As the Krasnodar Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified, we are presumably talking about teenagers who were riding mopeds. According to a video published by the police, the incident occurred on April 23 late in the evening and involved about 10 young people.
