PYATIGORSK, April 30 Investigators in Karachay-Cherkessia organized an inspection after a five-year-old child died from a falling tree in the village of Dombay, reports the press service of the investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the republic in the Telegram channel.
“The investigative department for the city of Karachaevsk… is conducting a procedural investigation into the death of a child in the village of Dombay, Karachaevsky urban district of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic,” the message says.
According to the department, the incident happened on Monday near the Muruju River in the village of Dombay.
«A tree fell onto the roadway. A five-year-old child, who was near the car at that moment with his family, died on the spot from his injuries,» the release notes.
The department clarified that investigators are currently carrying out a set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
