MOSCOW, April 30. The exhibition of captured equipment from the special operation zone has become a disgrace for NATO countries, said former CIA analyst Larry Johnson in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.
«Now they are demonstrating equipment. <…> You know, this is aimed at humiliation of the West,” he noted.
According to the expert, this exhibition serves as a reminder that all Western technologies have proven to be largely ineffective. Johnson also called this decision a kind of victory dance for Moscow.
Trophy NATO equipment was displayed on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. From May 1, you can see there, in addition to Leopard 2, the Marder infantry fighting vehicle, the Swedish CV90 infantry fighting vehicle, the French AMX-10RC armored fighting vehicle — in total more than 30 models made in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Turkey, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, South Africa, Finland, Australia, Austria and Ukraine.
As stated by presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, the exhibition on Poklonnaya Hill will arouse great interest among Russians, since they should see the destroyed equipment.
