SK: a 60-year-old member of the Ukrainian National Battalion was detained in the Kherson region
The Main Investigative Department of the RF IC for the Kherson region, in a publication on its Telegram channel, reports that a woman suspected of involvement in volunteerism was detained in the region nationalist battalion named after Noman Celebidzhikhan (recognized as terrorist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation).
According to the department, a 60-year-old local resident was detained on suspicion of committing a crime under Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation and charged. It is noted that the criminal case, in particular, was initiated under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Participation in an armed formation contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation”).
Investigation data indicate that the accused voluntarily joined the National Battalion in December 2015. The regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee added that by her actions the attacker caused damage to the economic and political interests of Russian citizens, creating a threat to the national security of Russia.
