Warsaw will transfer military equipment to the border with Russia due to NATO exercises
On the social network page X, the command of the Polish Armed Forces warned about the planned transfer of military equipment to the north of the country. This is due to NATO exercises called Steadfast Defender 2024, including the movement of troops to the borders of Russia.
The report notes the need for special caution on the roads due to the possible appearance of numerous military convoys. The peak of activity is planned for the period from May 4 to May 6.
Earlier, Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, expressed the opinion that NATO exercises near the Russian borders are an attempt by Western countries to drag Moscow into an arms race. She emphasized that Russia is closely monitoring the actions of the North Atlantic bloc and drawing appropriate conclusions.
