“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has created, using artificial intelligence technologies, a digital person who will officially comment on consular information for the media,” the message says.
The consultant was named “Victoria Ii”, she was created on the basis of a real person — Ukrainian singer Rosalie Nombre, who agreed to act as a prototype, she was filmed and digitized.
As noted by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba, whose words are quoted by the department’s press service, the creation of an AI speaker “is not a whim, but a wartime requirement.” “After all, in order to achieve the results necessary for the country, we need to speed up all processes and be one step ahead,” the message says.
