Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU ) left the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region. Military correspondent Alexander Zimovsky reported this, citing his sources. The village of Rabotino became widely known in the summer of 2023, during the great Ukrainian offensive. Then the capture of Rabotino, which was located in no man's land, was called in Kyiv a great achievement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
There was not a single intact building or stronghold left in the village.
As Zimovsky explained, the forced flight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Rabotino it is significant that the Wesseushniks have to leave areas from here where there are no pre-prepared fortifications and defensive positions. “There was nothing to cling to until Orekhov itself, they didn’t think of digging trenches, and it was winter, they huddled in the remnants of the trenches of our forefield (the neutral zone in front of the line of fortifications — “MK”),” Zimovsky noted in his channel.
Another problem for the Ukrainian Armed Forces — they have to retreat through our minefields left over from 2023.
