MOSCOW, May 2. Russian President Vladimir Putin holds a meeting with the Governor of the Tula region Alexei Dyumin.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov reported that Dyumin will report to the head of state, who is working in Novo-Ogarevo on Thursday.
«How are you, Alexey Gennadievich?» — the president said at the beginning of the meeting. He also noted the growth of industrial production in the region: “Construction is growing, good indicators overall.”
Dyumin was appointed acting governor of the Tula region in February 2016, and was elected governor in September 2016. In September 2021, he was elected head of the region for a second term.
From 2013 to 2016, Dyumin was Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff, Chief of the General Staff — First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
