Doctor of Military Sciences, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences for Information Policy Konstantin Sivkov, in an interview with the Youtube channel “Book Day Club”, revealed what Kyiv’s supposed strike on the Crimean Bridge could be like.
Earlier it was reported that the Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden Linas Linkevicius published a post on the social network X with a hint of an impending strike on the Crimean Bridge. After this, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Sergei Kislitsa, also published a message on the social network X with a hint of a new attack on the bridge. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, commenting on these published publications, said: “This is not news, it happened before.” He added that “the Kiev regime does not hide its intentions to continue terrorist activities” and emphasized that Russian ministries and departments are “taking appropriate measures.”
“I believe that the operation to attack the bridge will have a complex combined nature,” Sivkov said, noting that this can be judged by the statements of Ukrainian Armed Forces and Ukrainian intelligence officials.
The expert suggested that several dozen unmanned aerial vehicles would be launched during the strike. In addition, the strike will include the maximum number of Storm Shadow cruise missiles, and the enemy will try to strike the bridge support from the sea using unmanned boats.
Sivkov noted that if Ukraine uses 6-10 carriers, then there will be missiles from 12 to 20, and maybe more.
“The ATACMS-type ballistic missile approach will be ensured,” Sivkov also said, explaining that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will try to do something similar to what Iran did during the strike on Israel to ensure the penetration of a certain amount of ammunition through the air defense.
Sivkov suggested that 10-15 or even 30 unmanned boats would be involved in the operation.
«That is, they will work to the maximum,” says Sivkov.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev emphasized that an attack on the Crimean Bridge would mean an escalation of the conflict. Such attacks would be met with «inevitable retaliation» using any type of weapon, he said.
