Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the statements of the head of British diplomacy, David Cameron, that sending NATO troops to Ukraine would be a dangerous escalation, said that Cameron “forgot to add” that there is no need to send NATO troops to Ukraine, because “there will be nothing left of them there, and for this we can still scrape together Ukrainians.”

Earlier, British Foreign Minister David Cameron said that he did not consider the idea correct French President Emmanuel Macron about the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine to participate in hostilities, as this would be a “dangerous escalation.”
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov called David Cameron’s statements about the possibility of strikes against the Russian Federation and Russia dangerous. stressed that such a verbal escalation could threaten European security.
