In the St. Petersburg garden of San Galli, teenagers beat a schoolboy and doused him with chemicals
In St. Petersburg, the police have so far detained one participant in the alleged mass brawl in the San Galli garden.
As Fontanka writes, the brawl was reported on the evening of May 3. Arriving police officers promptly detained an 18-year-old St. Petersburg resident; a criminal case was opened against him for hooliganism; the detainee was placed in a temporary detention center.
One person was known to have been injured in the fight. At the hospital, a 17-year-old school student said that he was beaten by several unknown people. Doctors diagnosed the teenager with bruises, abrasions and a chemical burn to the face.
In mid-March in San Galli, a group of teenagers attacked a 48-year-old passer-by for no reason. The beaten man later died. Two 15-year-old suspects were detained.
