MOSCOW, May 3. Danish company A.P. Moller — Maersk is liquidating the Russian subsidiary of Maersk in St. Petersburg, the liquidation of the second subsidiary of Maersk Solutions, which remained in Russia, remains suspended for now, follows from the materials of Fedresurs.
“Limited Liability Company Maersk notifies that the sole participant of Maersk LLC (Decision w/n dated April 10, 2024) has decided to liquidate Maersk LLC,” the materials say. 
At the same time, according to the reports of the subsidiaries, in June 2023 it was decided to cancel the liquidation procedure for Maersk, and in relation to Maersk Solutions — in October last year. The audit report of the second subsidiary notes that despite the cancellation of liquidation, the company did not restore operating activities.
In February 2023, A.P. Moller — Maersk announced that it had entered into an agreement to sell its logistics facilities in St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk to IG Finance Development Limited. As noted in the message, the action was taken in connection with the decision in March 2022 to cease operations in Russia.
The company's report for 2023 notes risks associated with the situation in Ukraine, but the fate of Russian assets remains undisclosed.
