The fire brigade had to urgently arrive at the MHP-Arena stadium in Stuttgart an hour and a half before the start of the match. According to the newspaper, among the firefighters was a trained beekeeper who locked the queen bee in a box and carried her out of the stadium. To prevent the bees from flying away, they were sprayed with water.
Only when the firefighters finished their work was Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer able to begin his pre-match warm-up.
