VELIKY NOVGOROD, May 5. Glass thrown by a boy from a fifth-floor balcony injured a girl passing by in Staraya Russa, a 3-year-old child is in intensive care, an investigation is underway, reports the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Novgorod region.
“»As a result of such actions, a 3-year-old girl, who was leaving the pharmacy with her parents, located on the first floor of this house, was injured. The child is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a medical institution,» the message says.
It was previously established that on Sunday a 9-year-old boy threw glass from a window that was kept on the balcony of an apartment on the fifth floor of a residential building.
It is clarified that the prosecutor’s office will evaluate the boy’s living conditions and upbringing, as well as the activities of the preventive system when working with the child’s family.
