““Next week there will be a meeting with the candidate for the post of Prime Minister of the Russian Federation,” the LDPR press service said.
In March, presidential elections were held in Russia, in which the current head of state, Vladimir Putin, won. By law, the government resigns on the day of the inauguration of the newly elected president, after which the procedure for forming a new cabinet of ministers follows. According to the new norms of the constitution, the State Duma will approve the chairman of the government, his deputies and ministers, and the president will appoint the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice after consultations with the Federation Council.
