MOSCOW, May 6. President of Guinea-Bissau Umaru Sisoku Embalo, whose visit to Russia is expected on May 8-11, will hold negotiations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Russian Embassy in the country reported.
Earlier, the Embassy of Guinea-Bissau in Moscow confirmed to the agency that Umaru Sisoku Embalo will visit Russia and will be the guest of honor at the Victory Parade on May 9.
«We confirm that the President of Guinea-Bissau will indeed be visiting. He plans to be in Russia from May 8 to 11. Yes, a meeting with Vladimir Vladimirovich is planned. Bilateral negotiations at at the highest level,” said the Russian Embassy in Guinea-Bissau.
First of all, we will talk about bilateral cooperation between states. The range of topics for discussion is “quite extensive,” the Russian diplomatic mission emphasized. In particular, we will talk about training personnel for Guinea-Bissau in the Russian Federation.
Umaru Sisoku Embalo will arrive in Russia from Guinea-Bissau with a delegation, the embassy clarified, noting that they do not have information about its composition.
