MOSCOW, May 6. The production of solutions for the care of contact lenses will open in Dubna, Moscow Region, in the second quarter of 2025, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region reported.
“The Okay Vision Technologies company plans to launch a plant in the Dubna SEZ in less than a year for the production of solutions for the care of contact lenses. At a modern automated enterprise, the SEZ resident intends to annually produce over 40 million packages of important import-substituting products,” noted the statement. department.
According to the ministry, construction work within the investment project began in September 2023, and the commissioning of the facility is scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
The new plant will produce a solution for storing and caring for contact lenses in packages of 100, 250 and 360 milliliters. The enterprise will also launch the production of medical solutions, bottled in bottles with a volume of 10 to 60 milliliters. Every year they plan to produce more than 40 million packages of products.
«The area of the facility will be about 2 thousand square meters. A production line will be equipped here, a warehouse for finished products, a loading and unloading area, as well as administrative and utility rooms will be created. The planned investment volume in the project is 275 million rubles, the enterprise will create several dozens of new jobs,” said Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region Ekaterina Zinovieva, whose words are quoted in the message.
