MOSCOW, May 6. At the summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which will be held on May 8 in Moscow, the results of the work of the EAEU over 10 years and prospects for further integration processes, said Assistant to the Russian President for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov.
“»There will be a practical discussion of the interim results of the Union's activities over the past 10 years. And over these 10 years, quite significant results have been achieved. The total GDP of the Union countries has grown from 1.6 to 2.5 trillion dollars,» he told reporters. 
The volume of mutual trade of the member states almost doubled — to $80.5 billion, trade turnover with third countries — by 60%, the external debt of the Union decreased by 15%, the portfolio of accumulated mutual direct investments reached $17.7 billion, Ushakov added. He added that positive trends in the economy continue this year.
““Also (at the meeting will be discussed) the prospects for further deepening integration processes,” Ushakov said.
For consideration, the heads of state will be provided with a report on the progress of implementation of the Strategic Directions for the Development of Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025 and information on the results of work in the field of regulating the activities of natural monopolies, he added. -0-
