
MOSCOW, May 8. A resident of the town of Balashikha near Moscow kept six migrants in slavery, forcing them to beg, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told reporters.
«Employees of the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with colleagues from the Moscow region, detained a local resident. She is suspected of using slave labor from citizens of one of the neighboring states,» the release says. 
< br />According to the police, the attacker kept five men and one woman in the apartment. She used “physical and psychological violence” against them and took their documents and mobile phones.
In addition, the woman forced her victims to beg. She took them to crowded places, and then observed, controlling their actions.
The woman was detained, and a criminal case was opened against her under the article “Use of slave labor.” The court sent the detainee into custody.
During the search, signs with requests for help, money, passports, smartphones and bank cards were confiscated from her.
