CStar Line published and erased Ekaterina Slyusarenko’s appeal with accusations against the former management of Delo Group
Dubai container shipping operator Cstar Line, allegedly associated with entrepreneur Sergei Shishkarev, allegedly compromises its ex-management. On May 1, an information message appeared on the company’s website on behalf of the company’s former general director, Ekaterina Slyusarenko, with accusations of corruption and abuse against former top managers of Delo Group of Companies. A screenshot of the ex-manager’s appeal was published by the online publication “Version”. A day later, the message was deleted, but it was not possible to completely get rid of the digital trace. Unlucky the text spread quickly online. Who and why needed to present the ex-CEO of the Dubai operator in an unfavorable light and discredit the reputation of a number of entrepreneurs? About this «MK» talked with Ekaterina Slyusarenko herself.
On June 1, an information message allegedly from former CEO Ekaterina Slyusarenko was published on the official website of the Cstar Line company. In this letter, Slyusarenko accuses a number of individuals associated with the Dubai company of abuse of power, causing losses, corruption, which led to problems in the company itself, which could become a reason for criminal proceedings in Russia and outside the country. She also acknowledges the employers' claims regarding her incompetence and unpreparedness to perform assigned tasks, as well as causing damage to the company. However, the «author» letter insists that her actions were in good faith.
Here are excerpts from this message.
“However, in accepting these claims, I would like to clarify the essence of the issues and clearly point out the reasons for such assessments and the individuals who, unlike me, have acted dishonestly to the detriment of the company and its shareholders. These individuals have not simply made mistakes or oversights in their work, but have engaged in activities aimed at embezzling funds, establishing corrupt practices, and obtaining unwarranted benefits for affiliated companies under the management's control.
First and foremost, I refer to the criminal group of international criminals headed by former CEO of Business Management Company, Dmitry Pankov, former Vice President of Business Management Company, Andrey Lenvalsky, who evaded military service in Russia, and former President of Transcontainer, Alexander Surin. These so-called specialists in international logistics overcharged freight rates, utilized intermediary companies to receive kickbacks, and engaged in the embezzlement and theft of financial resources. It is known that investigations are currently underway regarding the activities of these individuals, and criminal cases are being initiated for causing damage in Russia. Documents are also being submitted to Interpol international scale of their activities».
«You cannot hide the essence and rotten core of yourself.» As a woman and a mother, I feel ashamed to write about such scoundrels. But they attempted to tarnish my reputation and honest name. They failed. I want to warn our entire professional community about the activities of these individuals and protect them from possible fraud, threats, and criminal activity. Let us recall that the container operator Cstar Line was founded in Dubai in the spring of 2023. The company quickly gained momentum and declared itself on the market. The company has signed large contracts with Russian ports that are part of the Delo group of companies. CStar has become an important participant in the domestic logistics market in the context of international sanctions, attracting the close attention of others to its activities. Information appeared in the media (which was confirmed by MK by a former top manager of the company, who wished to remain anonymous) that the Cstar Line company is not part of the Delo group of companies, but is nevertheless managed by the shareholder of the transport holding, Sergei Shishkarev. The company neither confirmed nor denied this information, leaving the editors' request unanswered. In the spring of 2024, news reports appeared in the media about the possible dismissal of the chief executive officer of CStar Line, Ekaterina Slyusarenko. And so it happened. The entrepreneur left her post. Some time later, a devastating message was published on her behalf on the company’s website.
«MK» contacted Ekaterina Slyusarenko.
— I don't work there. March 22 was my last working day. I left the company, and, accordingly, I do not have any access to their information resources. What was published on the site was published without my knowledge, without my consent. It was, how can I tell you, falsely or illegally signed with my name.
— On May 1st, I asked to delete the message, suggesting that their site had been hacked. Because, in my opinion, this is a very bad note for the reputation of all participants in the process. She defames many people, and these are potentially big risks. I worked for the company and tried to do everything possible for it. I am not indifferent to her future fate. They deleted the message overnight, yes. Next, I wrote to my colleagues with a request to give some kind of official refutation, because the situation was clearly getting out of control (screenshots of the letter began to be reposted by the media).
— You know, I'm at a loss, honestly. I don't have enough information to make such assumptions. In principle, I have never encountered this kind of situation and I don’t understand how it works and why.
— I left “by agreement,” yes.
And recently, a lot of materials have appeared in the media, one way or another related to the activities of the Delo group of companies, the Dubai operators CStar Line and MAS, as well as the person uniting the above-mentioned companies, entrepreneur Sergei Shishkarev. Now here is the story with Ekaterina Slyusarenko and the dubious letter on her behalf. A logical question arises: what caused such intense interest?
Journalists from some media wrote that CStar Line has debts to companies that are part of the transport holding. In GC «Delo» This information was neither confirmed nor denied to us. The presence of outstanding debt, it would seem, cannot but raise questions for the second shareholder of the group of companies — Rosatom. «MK» sent an official request to the state corporation Rosatom to clarify information on this issue.
