
MOSCOW, May 7. President of the Research Institute of Emergency Children Surgery and traumatology Leonid Roshal, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin after the inauguration, noted the excellent physical shape of the head of state.
Putin officially took office on Tuesday. The inauguration ceremony of the Russian leader was broadcast by the world media.
“I want to tell you that you are in excellent physical shape, today you completed this marathon on the stairs without shortness of breath, everything is fine,” Roshal noted at a meeting in the Kremlin.
After officially taking office, Putin received the parade of the Presidential Regiment on Cathedral Square in the Kremlin, then the head of state came to the Annunciation Cathedral, where Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' served a thanksgiving prayer service on the occasion of the inauguration. This ceremony was the fifth in Vladimir Putin’s political career; he will hold the highest elected post for the next six years, until 2030.
Presidential elections in Russia were held from March 15 to 17, according to their results, the current president received 87.28% of the votes.
