
MOSCOW, May 7. Russian citizens choose for themselves of its president, the Russian Federation does not want third countries to interfere in the choices and preferences of citizens, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
«We elect our parliament. We elect our president. We vote for the president or we do not want to vote for the president And we insist that we have the right to do it the way we want and we do not want any third countries to interfere with our choice, our preferences,” Peskov told a Sky News correspondent.
At the same time, the press secretary, in response to a question about the opposition in Russia, said that opposition in the country, of course, exists, but “the conditions are now more stringent” because Russia is in a conflict.
