MOSCOW, May 7. The State Duma will fulfill the tasks outlined in the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the development of aviation routes and federal roads, State Duma deputy Alexander Tolmachev said.
Putin signed a decree “On the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030 and for the future until 2036.” 
“We need to invest in aviation routes, simply based on the scale of our country… In order to quickly and safely transport people and cargo over such distances, we need domestic aircraft — reliable, modern, comfortable. We will accomplish the task, this is necessary for our citizens , for the entire state,» he said.
He noted that the decree is a program of tasks, guidelines that must be achieved.
«Several points at once — about the development of transport, namely roads and air routes. Federal roads, which are mentioned in the Presidential Decree, are arteries connecting the regions of the country with each other. They are the key to economic development: cargo transportation, domestic tourism, creation of new jobs,” added the deputy.
