Rospotrebnadzor sealed the St. Petersburg bar “Vogel”

Rospotrebnadzor sealed the St. Petersburg bar “Vogel” before the court’s decision, co-founder of the establishment Ivan Bikeev told “Rotunda”, RusNews and MR7.

The reason for the closure, according to Bikeev, was chips on the tiles and inaccuracies in the books accounting. “Mostly some bureaucratic issues, that something is not being done somewhere. There are no complaints about the product itself,” explained the bar’s co-founder. He added that Vogel faces a fine or suspension of operations.

On the afternoon of May 8, employees reported that employees of Center “E”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs department for migration issues, Rospotrebnadzor and the federal service for regulating the alcohol market came to the bar.

Half an hour earlier, homophobe and informer Timur Bulatov, in his Telegram channel, conveyed “fiery greetings” to the bar.

Later, Ivan Bikeev told MR7 that the service employees explained their visit with a complaint from a poisoned person. As RusNews writes, “at some point there were about 25 people from different departments” in the bar.

Rotunda noted that because of Bulatov’s complaint, Vogel was already closed at the end of 2022, and the decision was explained by a violation of sanitary standards.
