Vladimir Putin officially took office as President of Russia on Tuesday. The inauguration ceremony of the Russian leader was broadcast by the world media. After this, Mishustin signed a decree on the resignation of the government to the newly elected President of the Russian Federation.
“»Our government has done a tremendous amount of work during this time. I don’t know who will come, the government has been dismissed by law, but this is my personal hope, I would really like Mishustin to stay, of course, because what was done in such a difficult time is close to a miracle,” Simonyan said.
In January 2020, Simonyan predicted the appointment of the then head of the Federal Tax Service Mishustin as Prime Minister, giving her forecast even before Putin nominated him.
