A fire broke out on the territory of an enterprise in the Dzerzhinsky district of the Kaluga region as a result of a drone crash, said the regional governor, Vladislav Shapsha. According to him, the fire was extinguished and there were no injuries.
The drone fell on the territory of the First Plant oil refinery, RIA Novosti writes with reference to emergency services. Three containers with diesel fuel and one with fuel oil caught fire. According to local residents, the plant's employees were evacuated around midnight, Astra reports.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not report a drone attack on the Kaluga region. The department said that during the night of May 10, air defense systems shot down five Ukrainian drones: three in the Bryansk region, one in the Belgorod region and one in the Moscow region.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that a drone flying towards Moscow was shot down in Podolsk. According to him, there were no destructions or casualties. The governors of the Bryansk and Belgorod regions, Alexander Bogomaz and Vyacheslav Gladkov, did not talk about damage and casualties after drone attacks.
In the Kursk region, three houses caught fire as a result of shelling, said the head of the region, Roman Starovoyt. According to him, the area was attacked by kamikaze drones. The Ministry of Defense also did not report anything about downed drones in this area.
