DONETSK, May 11. Ukrainian sabotage group, trying to land on the island of Nestriga, was destroyed in the Kherson region, the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergei Lebedev, said on Saturday.
«According to reports from local residents, a group of Ukrainian DRGs from the 123rd defense brigade of the 188th battalion, consisting of seven military personnel, left the city of Kizomys. They crossed by boat to the island of Nestriga. When the Ukrainian military landed, artillery began to work, after which the remnants of the Ukrainian DRG started evacuating, where they were caught,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
According to Lebedev, local residents watched the battle from the right bank of the Dnieper River.
