According to Bocharov, air defense systems and electronic warfare systems repelled the UAV attack, as a result of which the drone fell and exploded at the Volgograd oil refinery site. The fire was extinguished, there were no casualties, the head of the region added.
The Ministry of Defense reported that it shot down six Ukrainian Armed Forces drones overnight — three in the Bryansk region, two in the Lipetsk region, and another was intercepted over the Volgograd region.
